Our Management Team

Traci Mello – Administrator 

Traci Mello is Wilshire Community Services' Administrator. In this role, Traci works with older adults in San Luis Obispo County, serving as a source of support as they navigate through the difficult transitions associated with aging. Prior to joining the team at Wilshire, Traci worked with Santa Barbara County Adult Protective Services as an investigator and case manager.

Traci has many years of experience working with the older adult population, holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Certificate of Aging from the Institute of Geriatric Social Work, Boston University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Traci currently resides in the beautiful five cities area of San Luis Obispo County. When not working, Traci enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and socializing with friends, and spending time with her kids.



Jessica Devereaux – Division Manager

Jessica Devereaux is the Division Manager for Wilshire Community Service's Good Neighbor and Caring Callers programs. Her position entails assessing the varying needs of the clients and coordinating service deliveries for the Senior Services programs including the Caring Callers and Good Neighbor Programs. Before coming to Wilshire Community Services, Jessica was the Intake and Respite Coordinator for the Life Steps Foundation.

Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a state certified crisis counselor. She currently volunteers with the Sexual Assault Recovery and Prevention Center in San Luis Obispo. As a central coast native, Jessica enjoys spending time at the beach and camping with her family.


Jen Kaplan – Programs Associate

Jen Kaplan is the Senior Services Programs Associate for Wilshire Community Services. Her position entails supporting the administrator and division manager with any program needs as well as interacting with clients during the referral process, service delivery requests or visiting with them in their homes for reassessments. Before coming to Wilshire Community Services, Jen worked at the Intervention Institute as a staff counselor and case manager. Prior to that she interned at the Women’s Shelter of SLO as an intake and domestic violence counselor. She holds certificates in crisis counseling, parenting education, HIV/AIDS education, and is a certified drug and alcohol counselor.  Jen graduated from Cal Poly with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a concentration in Social Work for women and children.  She volunteers her time as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Destination Imagination Team Manager.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and you can almost always find her at the baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts or relaxing at the beach
